Phimister Photography is the largest family firm of photographers in the Highlands of Scotland. We have been in business for almost 25 years and offer a wealth of experience, qualifications and expertise.

We have built up an impressive knowledge of churches, castles, hotels, country houses and gardens through out the highlands and islands and know of special locations to make your wedding photographs unique.

We work from a purpose built studio complex in Kirkhill, some 7 miles west of Inverness. There is a large wedding showroom where clients can browse through some of the many sample albums on permanent display.

Mike Phimister is currently president of the Rotary Club of Inverness Culloden and is an award winning wildlife photographer. Kathleen, as well as photographing many weddings throughout the year, manages the portrait photography side of the business.

As qualified professionals we use only the best digital equipment available from Nikon. We replace our cameras every two - three years and carry a minimum of two sets of equipment to every wedding. We capture our photographs in “Camera Raw” which gives us full control of all factors contributing to the final image quality. We maintain a permanent back up three copies of every wedding on secure external hard drives and one copy on a secure remote server.
